Overview

Male condom catheters, such as the SureStep™ MEC kits, are a Foley alternative for your patients with sufficient anatomy. However, approximately 30%* of men have incompatible anatomy for condom catheters, leaving nurses without good alternatives for these patients.1 The PureWick™ Male External Catheter is intended for non-invasive urine output management in male patients who are currently incompatible with condom catheters.2,3 Integrating this into your bladder management options gives you a full portfolio of products to protect your patient’s skin and and may reduce indwelling catheter days, thus lowering CAUTI risk.4,5,6
