Key Accomplishment
WIN+STEM, a sub-group of WIN, focuses on empowering, elevating and advancing equity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education and jobs. To further enhance networking, outreach and development efforts for its members, WIN hosted a series of events, including global lunch chats, hands-on learning experiments with students in the U.K., and an International Women’s Day celebration featuring a global keynote session centered on strengthening and promoting personal brand to foster career advancement. These collective efforts earned BD three professional awards from the Society of Women Engineers.
