Features and Benefits

Compatibility with the BD Alaris™ Pump and gravity administration sets

The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector has the same proximal and distal connectors as the BD Alaris™ Pump module and gravity administration set Y-ports, enabling standardisation. 

Flat, smooth surface

The surface design makes it easy to clean and disinfect the access point.

Straight fluid pathway

The straight fluid pathway provides laminar flow and easy flushing.3

Closed system delivery

The BD SmartSite™ Needle-free Connector pairs with the Texium™ closed male luer to form a leak-free closed system drug transfer device (CSTD) to deliver hazardous drugs.
