BD Isolator Cleanroom eXtended Temperature (IC-XT) plated media offer flexibility and sample security to meet today’s environmental monitoring needs. 

With extended shelf-life and 2-25°C storage, BD BBL™ IC-XT prepared plated media provide dependable and reliable products for testing in critical environments.

Features and Benefits
Sterility assurance

A SAL claim of 10-6 may minimize the risk of false positives, protecting your critical environments. Triple bag packaging enables transfer of plates into critical environments while maintaining sterility assurance claims.

VHP resistance

Packaging is validated to withstand Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP®) penetration. Additionally, each bag contains a hole to allow for improved handling in isolators.

Sample integrity

BD RODAC™ SNAP LID and LOCKING LID Settling Plates provide sample integrity.

Product traceability
2D barcode labels that meet GS1 standards allow samples to be easily identified and tracked.
Storage flexibility
Room temperature storage media with a range of 2-25° C provides improved flexibility, reducing the need for refrigeration.
Resource efficiency
Large batch sizes with extended shelf life help reduce incoming QC testing.
Multiple applications
BD BBL™ IC-XT cleanroom plated media is ideal for environmental monitoring activities including the use of RODAC™ contact plates, environmental sampling performed with 100mm plates and utilizing an air sampling system to perform monitoring of your isolators or clean rooms.
