R. Andrew Eckert serves as a director of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Eckert has been a member of the board since 2016.

Eckert also serves as lead director of Fortrea Holdings Inc. and chair of the board of directors of Maravai LifeSciences. He also served as chairman of Varian Medical Systems Inc.
Eckert is a leader in the growing field of healthcare information technology, with extensive experience as an executive officer of several healthcare companies.
