Dr. Vikrant serves as Business Director, India, and South Asia for Pharmaceutical Systems at BD, (Becton, Dickinson, and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Dr. Vikrant also leads BDX Digital initiative that focuses on driving capabilities focused on the execution of digital and omnichannel marketing strategies in partnership with the businesses to improve customer experience.
In the current role, since 2024 Dr. Vikrant is responsible for the Pharmaceutical Systems business unit’s commercial, operational, and financial performance in South Asia. During his 18 years association with BD, Dr. Vikrant has progressed in his career across various functions viz. Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales Leadership at regional and national level across Medication Delivery Solutions and Pharmaceutical systems. Prior to taking on the Business Director role, Dr. Vikrant was Associate Director, Next tier, a GTM initiative for BD to provide geographical reach and improve standard of care in these markets.
Before joining BD in 2006, Dr. Vikrant has worked at Boston Scientific as well as well as G.B. Pant Hospital.
Dr. Vikrant earned his degree in Medicine (MBBS) from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and a master’s degree in business administration from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow with specialization in Marketing.
In his free time, Dr. Vikrant is passionate about endurance running, practicing yoga, and listening to music.
